My client committed to hosting a community forum at the last minute, and needed an advertising campaign for a discussion that would give an unflinching look at a problem many people were unaware of.
I went with a bright but stark look that would get people's attention, and used photos of the type of children who are the most affected by this crime. This was used on posters in the community, postcards sent to the congregations involved, and in social media promoting the event.
The event got three times as many people as they had projected, and helped start grass-roots efforts within the communities to address the issue.
