The biggest hurdle with this logo was to help frame the intent of this temporary exhibit, featuring live bats, to show families with young kids that these flying mammals weren't scary and slimy but could be sort of cute.
Early passes at the logo were a little dark and felt a little too much like Halloween. So I got into the mood by illustrating the playful poster, and then sat down to create a logo that would feel more child-like and fit in a more colorful setting as well as stand on its own
The logo was used on posters, flyers, billboards, print ads, and large-format banners, and throughout the exhibit.
