The Challenge
I was hired to design this book from scratch, and also provide dozens of spot illustrations, all with a three-week deadline.
Since time was of the essence, I used a few stock illustrations as the foundation for style, but then built out a library of other illustrations for very specific uses: there aren't any stock illustrations for making tarp tents.
All of the illustrations were approved as-is, which helped me beat the deadline.
