The Challenge
After a successful Kickstarter launch for this sci-fi miniatures war game, we followed up with a massive 200-page sourcebook—complete with game rules, ship diagrams, miniature catalogs, and rich world-building fiction.
With much of the content still being written and art unfinished at launch, I built a flexible, grid-based layout to handle evolving material while maintaining a clear structure. Each section had its own visual identity to guide readers through the different types of content.
Despite tight timelines and a fully-remote team, we hit our print deadline—and delivered to thousands of happy backers.
