The Challenge
As often happens with product design, the box for this kit had to be printed before the model actually existed. So the wooly mammoth is a highly Photoshopped image of the original (and huge) clay model used to sculpt the plastic kit, from a photo I took minutes before the model was sent to the manufacturer overseas.
The background was created with many Photoshop layers, and bears a striking resemblance to the opening screen Windows Vista which was adopted after this was printed. Coincidence?
