The Challenge
Every kaiju (that is, "Giant Monster!") needs a city to rampage through, and when you have two giant monsters fighting head-to-head in this game you need to make sure there's plenty of space!
The game developers for Monsterpocalypse design the basic outlines of where everything goes on the map, such as game elements and the foundations (ready for the three-dimensional buildings the monsters destroy during the game).
I then get to fill in the details using city-planning schematics such as detailed streets, sidewalks, trees, and so on, so that the map looks like anything from a pleasant river-side town or a city overtaken by alien machines set to raise the dead.
